"POSTAL 2" Karma Kills Like Never Before
Running With Scissors licenses MathEngine's "Karma" software to add to Epic's UNREAL technology for a religious game playing experience
Tucson, AZ - Declaring that Newton's Laws of Physics weren't twisted enough as is, Running With Scissors announced that POSTAL 2 would utilize Karma, the behavioral physics' software by MathEngine, Inc.
"Talk about double-barreled action, we're merging MathEngine's Karma physics with Epic Game's UNREAL technology," said loose canon Vince Desi, Running With Scissors' frighteningly enthusiastic CEO. "Trust me, this Karma stuff is the SHIT! You're gonna need clean underwear after you see how Karma physics helps us to kill off characters and knock off objects with an ebb and flow never before seen in a video game!"
"That Newton dude only had it half-right," bemused the mad CEO. "As a kid in school, I was always confused. 'What goes up must come down,' but hey, what about 'what goes in must come out?' The MathEngine guys got it all figured out. Gravity rocks with Karma! POSTAL 2 is a 3D extravaganza of excess! From an UNREAL technology base, to Karma's character and object behavioral physics - not to mention our own custom coding features that put more bump in the bloody grind - WHOA! Start saving money to buy new underwear now!"
Mike Gamble, Business Development Director for MathEngine, admitted, "When we were approached by Running With Scissors , they wanted character motion and object movement that was life-like, efficient and stable, I think I should have told them that we could only provide them with two out of three, because 'stable' these guys aren't." "In POSTAL 2, the shit is hitting the fan," roared Desi. "Dead is dead, but DYING is a religious experience thanks to Karma! And when a 55-gallon gasoline drum is rolling towards you, it doesn't just roll; it bounces and skips down the hill just like in real life. Listen up you spiritual types out there: Karma can kill, so behave yourselves and get on your knees and start praying..."
